Networking in temperatures in excess of 32 deg!

On one of the hottest days of the year, SACC Members and Guests got together to enjoy the heatwave, network and share experiences of this year's Check-in @ Stansted Business Exhibition brought to you by the Stansted Airport Chamber of Commerce which was held back in June.  Quite a contrast on the weather front, with the exhibition date itself suffering from torrential rain and storms!

It was good to welcome some new faces to the event including Fiona Henry from the Cannon Ball Run Europe, Stephen Hanks from Blue Dragon Cars, Pri Bamford from Nurture Pensions, Steve Clayden from airport based Swissport, Lottie and Joanna from IWM Events as well as Jamie and his colleagues from Taylor Milburn just to mention a few.  We are hoping to welcome them as SACC Members really soon!

Julie Budden, Chair SACC said:

"A lot of hard work is put into organising events and it was a delight to see so many people come along to support the BBQ. Having the sunshine was a real bonus! Mike Shields and his team did us proud once again with tasty food, chilled wine and beer - a perfect end to the day!".

"It was great hearing from some of the exhibitors how they have secured business from the recent Check-in @ Stansted - this makes it all worthwhile".

Mike Shields, owner of the Lion and Lamb said: "It is always a pleasure to host the SACC BBQ, there are some wonderful people within the group and I have made some great contacts over the years. I look forward to seeing them all again soon here at the Lion and Lamb".
