This year we have decided to change the venue location and will be taking the expo to The Novotel London Stansted who have been an exhibitor with us from day one (including their previous owner – The Hilton Hotel Group).  This year we wanted to give someone else the opportunity to hold the event within their venue and why not with a company who have also exhibited”.

A great turnout at the prestigious Inflite Jet Centre yesterday afternoon.

Following a welcome glass of Prosecco, guests heard from Alan Barnes, Customer Support and Sales Manager at Inflite who spoke about the history of the family run business which has been on airport for over 30 years and its support to the local community.

Alan explained in detail how the FBO facility differs from the commercial side of the airport giving everyone a better undestanding of how important the business is to the local economy.

With a tour of the first class facilities and the maintenance hangar, Alan continued to give an insight into the work carried out and shared some very interesting tales of personalities and events which they have hosted.

The afternoon ended with the opportunity for guests to network in one of the exclusive lounges taking in a little of the ambience afforded to VIPs and took the time to chat over a glass of fizz and superb cuisine provided.

Julie Budden said: "It is always a pleasure to visit Inflite and I thank them for their kind hospitality once again.  I was delighted to personally welcome new faces to our event which provided new connections between guests.  I have no doubt there will be business done as a result.  That is what makes the chamber so successful".

Here are just a couple of comments received following the event:

“Loved every minute, thank you!!!!”  Marie Kinchin, Sincerity Personnel

“Thank you very much for organising such an interesting evening, and please pass on my thanks to Mrs Stephens and everyone at Inflite, for their very kind hospitality.  I spend much of my time in the main terminal looking out across at north side so it was brilliant to get a different perspective and a better understanding of this really important and exciting part of the airport. The Inflite team and their facilities are very impressive and it was wonderful to be given access to them.  Thank you all...”  Anni Ridsdill, Airate
